1+1=???

So the other night Alison and I were having a couple friends over for dinner and were going to make some scalloped potatoes. Neither of us knew off hand how to make them and none of our cookbooks had the recipe. Being from a modern day generation, we googled it, but none of the recipes seemed "right". So we did the only thing we could do, we went cryin' home to momma. We decided we would both call our moms and use the easiest recipe they could pull together. It turned out that Momma T. had the easiest with using a cream of something soup. We made it, loved it, and life was good.
The moral of the story is when I got married, I thought I was marrying Alison. Well, it turns out I was marrying her and another host of ideas, experiences, and personnal ties that neither of us expected, and the same went for her.
Man and wife shall cleave unto each other and the twain shall be one flesh. 1+1=1, and 1+1= much more than you ever expected.

I am just glad the potatoes turned out well. Simple thought with profound meaning. Momma T

Mom's recipe is in the recipe book I gave you... do you still have that? We had scalloped potatoes yesterday, and we added ham. Boy was it yummy!

I made scalloped potatoes last week too! I knew I should have invited you guys over! Momma T must have gotten two calls last week about how to make scalloped potatoes :-) I actually did have the recipe I just had a question about the size of the can of soup.

Annie, Nope I never got one of those books. I think Ashley and Audrey both have one. But we'd love one, if you'd like to make us one.... :)

Micah, I had no idea you had a blog! Yay! I'm a rotten facebooker, so I'm excited for a way to actually keep up with how you two are doing!
