36 Week Prenatal Photoshoot

So, we love our Doula, Aubrey, and we are excited that she is going to be a part of our "birthing time" team. She taught us Hypnobabies again throughout January. And then we just had her over on Monday to our home for our official Prenatal with her as our Doula. She is also a birth photographer (Really nice bonus, since she didn't charge us extra for any of the photography). And at the end of our little visit, she offered to take some photos of us while she was here. She had just gotten a new camera and wanted to try it out. Even though I was super casual, still wearing my exercise clothes and hoodie, they turned out pretty cute. In fact, I love them! They are very candid and natural and the kids are just sweet. So I thought I'd share some of them with you guys. Enjoy! Can't wait for this baby to join us... :)

Emmy loves to talk to Baby :)
She says "Open Baby" when she wants to see my belly.
Gotta love that one stretch mark over my belly button
 "Hi, Baby"
 My little basketball :)

 Pure Love!
You can see my birthing bracelet in some of these. Each bead has special meaning, I wear it all the time till Baby comes..
 Emmy reading her favorite book
 All of us together.
 Families are Forever!
At least both Emmy and I had bright red pants on.
 Daddy Lovin'

Dallin wanted to chuff his Thomas train on Baby. :)

And all the way up Mommy's face..

 Cute big brother!

Emmy gets her favorite blankie and puts it on baby.
She often says "Baby is warm."

 Sweet "Emmy Cuddles & Lovies"
p.s. These are the watermarked "web quality" versions of the photos for sharing on blogs, facebook, etc. But if you by chance want to use any of these for printing (Mom), I can send you the full resolution image without the watermark. And most of them can be color or B&W.

Happy 5 Years to us!

Yep we are still happily married, and can't wait for the many more years to come...
Here's to us!

We went out for dinner tonight while D&E played at the neighbors. And we booked a week vacation today up at Snowbird at the end of the summer. Thanks Mom and Dad for helping out with that. :)

TWO!

Dallin is our blond haired blue eyed charm. He has always been very easygoing and mild mannered, though not lacking in energy in anyway. He loves to be outside. He loves trucks, tractors, and trains. He also likes animals and can say most of their names and noises now and even some of their signs. He has no fear of new places, and likes to wander and explore. He's not afraid of new people either, but can get a little overstimulated in large groups. He likes to eat, even vegetables, but especially fruits, like Mama, and he has quite the sweet tooth too, like Mom. But really is more of a daddy's boy. He has a sweet spot for dad, still loves to take naps with him and fix things in the garage with his tools. He also loves bath or shower time with Dad. He mows the lawn with dad, and takes the trash out with Mom. He is so eager to learn and help with things. He even loves to carry his own bag of dirty diapers out to the trash. He likes to dump things out, but also loves to put things back in their place. He loves to feed Emmy. And give her hugs and kisses. He is also generous with his toys, even sharing some of his favorite ones with her when she's sad. He doesn't hoard toys in nursery, but goes around playing from toy to toy and watching what all the other kids are doing. He recently gave up his pacifier and bottle, but still loves his Bear. He's saying prayers, starts off with "Fahder" very gently and loves to end with a very loud "Mamen!". He also loves to say the word "Happy" and that is truly a gift I see in him already, a natural ability to make others smile and laugh. We are so lucky to have him in our little family and can't wait to see him continue growing and developing in his own way.

We are so happy to have such a sweet and smart two year old in our house now, yep he's 2! We celebrated his birthday on Friday. Micah went in to work a little later than usual so he could be there when Dallin got up. He woke up to balloons, decorations, and a gift from us. He got to pick what he wanted to eat for breakfast, and he mostly got my undivided attention throughout the day, minus sharing a bit of it with Emmy. He still wanted to go play outside even, regardless of the snow rain, so we did. I let him run around naked for a while inside, cuz he has been fascinated by taking off his clothes and diaper lately. And he got to watch Curious George and Winnie the Pooh, his favorite movies. Then for dinner we had eggs and ham, which are some of his favorites. I made a cute Curious George cake for him and he got to open the gift Baba, Papa, and GG sent for him (perfect timing ;)). It turned out to be a great day! Nothing too fancy or busy or expensive. Just a simple good day together, celebrating our special sweet Dallin. :)
